On April 30, 2019, 400 lovely ladies and gentlemen gathered to honor 6 extraordinary mothers who have managed to marry family/ motherhood, careers and community service with aplomb and grace.
The event honored ten mothers in the Kansas City area who have the remarkable ability to balance family life, personal achievement, and civic engagement. Proceeds from the Luncheon benefited United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Kansas City.
Hats of every style, beauty, and fun adorned the Kansas City Marriott Ballroom for an auction/ raffle, elegant luncheon, as well as, an outstanding program staring our beautiful honorees, Anita Gorman, Margi Pence, Lisa Schellhorn, Susan Sight, Monte Summers, and Rosilyn Temple.
All funds raised from this event, now in its 16th year, go to Life Unlimited and benefits people with disabilities and their families in the Kansas City area. A record amount was raised through the generosity of the Kansas City community.
