To celebrate our playoff win, Tom’s Town just introduced their second batch of Machine No. 7 Gridiron Whiskey. This whiskey is a collaboration between Tom’s Town and the Lagunitas Beer Company of Northern California and is perfect for football (and whiskey) fans everywhere. ($35 per 375ml bottle)
With tasting notes of molasses, clove, cherry, and oatmeal cookie, Gridiron Whiskey starts out as a pre-hopped Lagunitas Sucks beer. (Fun fact: It’s a retired, beloved brand from the brewer known as a “cereal medley” of barley, rye, wheat, and oats.) The team at Tom’s Town distilled it in-house then carefully aged it in American white-oak barrels. It’s part of a collection of daring one-off spirits showcasing Tom’s Town distillers’ ingenuity.
Starting Thursday, it’s available exclusively at Tom’s Town for a limited time. (Heads-up: the first batch of Gridiron Whiskey sold out in a mere five days!)
