The brand was started in 2020 by Nikkie Affholter, a wife and mother of three who spent years in the fashion industry working as a photographer, which sparked a longtime love for fashion and design. But her designs do more than look good. Affholter works alongside local survivors of abuse and trafficking, and her business is also a tool for doing good. 

Since 2020, Tirza Design has made a big impact in the lives of women overcoming adversity, through highlighting survivor-made brands and investing in like-minded nonprofit organizations. Tirza Design’s iconic Promise earrings are handmade by survivors—women who have survived human trafficking, exploitation, and other forms of abuse. 

The style is influenced by Affholter’s years traveling the Middle East and is a perfect upgrade to your look.
