Heart of America Shakespeare Festival

To festival, or not to festival? At the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, that’s not even a question. Each year, the free festival features performances of a different Shakespearean masterpiece.
Their mission is to make the works of Shakespeare and Shakespeare-inspired works accessible to a diverse audience through a free, professional, outdoor festival, and additional free and paid performances and educational programs.
Nightly Schedule, June 13 – July 2, 2023, Tuesday – Sunday (No show Monday evenings):
6:00 p.m. – Gates open. Food and drink available from Festival vendors through intermission.
6:30 p.m. – Pre-show Parody performed by Team Shakespeare
7:00 p.m. – Show Talk
7:15 p.m. – Pre-show Parody performed by Team Shakespeare
8:00 p.m. – The Tempest performance
