Summer in the City

Performing Arts Series featuring local artists & musicians, food trucks, and games, activating Oppenstein Park in Downtown Kansas City.
The Downtown Community Improvement District is pleased to announce a new performance and event series for Downtown Kansas City, “Summer in the City” . Join twice a month from May through September in Oppenstein Brothers Memorial Park for music, dance, poetry, food trucks, games and other activities at Oppenstein Park, a pocket park located at 12th and Walnut Streets in Downtown Kansas City.
Summer in the City dates: June 12th 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM and June 27th 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, July 10th 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM and July 25th 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, August 14th 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM and August 22nd 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, and September 11th 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM and September 26th 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
