Tristian Griffin Dance Company’s new work, The Unexpected: Within the Red Lines premieres Saturday August 10th at the Gem Theatre. This provocative duet looks closely at the narrative of a Black and Latino man whose identities are wedged between polarizing communities, examining the barriers they face within and their attempts to breach beyond “redlining.”
