Thanksgiving is coming soon, and you might be planning a feast for a house filled with family. A chef’s kitchen is always on everyone’s dream kitchen list, so here’s some inspiration from actual chefs and their kitchens.
Clutter-free and Classic
Our Living columnist, Patricia O’Dell, and her husband and restaurant chef/co-owner, Todd Schulte, melded their requirements and their tastes when renovating their Brookside kitchen. Patricia wanted uncluttered countertops and easily accessible open shelves, while Todd’s main concerns were a professional range and a designated dry bar. They succeeded on all counts.
Detail Oriented
Colby and Megan Garrelts, the chef/owners of Rye on the Plaza and in Leawood, hoped for a home kitchen that equaled their talents. Working with Scovell Remodeling, they designed a room that satisfied all their requirements. It’s a space where they can cook, bake, kick back with the kids, and entertain.
