Kansas City’s Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art has developed a resource that allows you to choose work from the collections and order a custom print to hang in your home or office. You can search by subject and view the piece in a room and to scale. As well as some of the more well-known works available, there is a nice selection of textiles and abstracts. Charles Demuth’s Sails is particularly charming, though I keep circling back to the Classic First Phase Chief’s Blanket from the Native American collection.

Images are available on paper or canvas in small (15 ½ by 16 inches), medium (21 3/8 by 22 inches) and large (29 1/8 by 30 inches) with a choice of 11 frames. In addition, the site allows you to see the print to scale in a room.

In addition to being great looking, the prints are reasonable. Unframed pieces on paper range from $25 to $125 and canvases start at $70 with the largest being $250.
