If you didn’t get around to seeing all 156 art installations included in 2022’s Parade of Hearts, your chance to see all the hearts in the 2023 installation is coming soon.
On April 15, Parade of Hearts is hosting an advance public viewing of 40 hearts that will be on display for the second year of the individually decorated hearts.
Tickets are $5 per person and attendees will get to see the hearts before they are deployed for public viewing across the metro. Plus, you’ll get to meet the artists behind the heart designs.
The event will also feature DJs, concessions, family-friendly entertainment, color-your-own paper mini-hearts, Parade of Hearts merchandise, and works of art from current and past Parade of Hearts artists.
In 2022, Parade of Hearts raised $2.56 million for local charities. Funds raised in 2023 will provide stipends for local artists, as well as support The University of Kansas Health System, Children’s Miracle Network, and The Family Conservancy.
