The Kansas City Ballet Wants You To Get Your Dance On This Saturday

This Saturday, you can get your dance on with an assist from the talented performers at the Kansas City Ballet. They’re calling it “KCBallet@Home.”

The event will kickoff the organization’s 63rd season and celebrate the 10th anniversary of its KC Dance Day. (This year is virtual, of course.) The entire day will feature free online dance performances, classes, demonstrations, and fun for the whole family. The complete schedule can be found here.  (Toes up, er, heads up—everyone taking classes must register in advance. Online registration for classes is currently open. Participants will receive a link to the class upon registration.)

Founded in 1975, Kansas City Ballet is a professional ballet company led by the artistic director, Devon Carney, and the executive director, Jeffrey J. Bentley. The organization’s vision statement fits right in with Saturday’s fun-filled activities—outstanding dance experiences accessible to all.
