Kansas City Repertory Theatre announced its 2025-26 season Tuesday, with two of its shows associated with recent Hollywood hits.
The five-production lineup includes Dracula and The Wizard of Oz. The source novel for Dracula inspired the recently remade Nosferatu; The Wizard of Oz, of course, inspired Wicked.
Here’s the full schedule:
- The Color Purple: Sept. 2-21 (Spencer Theatre)
- Dracula: Oct. 14-Nov. 2 (Copaken Stage)
- Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol: Nov. 22-Dec. 27 (Spencer Theatre)
- One of the Good Ones: Feb. 17-March 8, 2026 (Copaken Stage)
- The Wizard of Oz: May 5-24, 2026 (Spencer Theatre)
Kansas City Repertory Theatre’s 2024-25 season is still underway. Broke-ology runs on Copaken Stage until March 2, and Emma runs May 6 to May 25 at Spencer Theatre.
