
PNC Broadway in Kansas City announced its 2025-26 season this morning. The season will conclude with a three-week run of Wicked.
Wicked will take place at the Kansas City Music Hall from August 12 to August 30, 2026. Other notable musicals in the lineup include The Book of Mormon, Hamilton, Mrs. Doubtfire, and the fresh-from-Broadway & Juliet.
Five of the shows will be Kansas City premieres, and eight of the nine will be musicals. The lone play, Stereophonic, holds the record for most Tony nominations for a play.
All shows will take place in the Music Hall or the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Here’s the lineup (with Kansas City premieres bolded):

- Beauty and the Beast: Oct. 28-Nov. 2, 2025 (Music Hall)
- & Juliet: Nov. 18-23, 2025 (Music Hall)
- Kimberly Akimbo: Jan. 20-25, 2026 (Kauffman Center)
- Hamilton: Feb. 18-March 1, 2026 (Music Hall)
- The Great Gatsby: March 17-22, 2026 (Music Hall)
- Stereophonic: April 7-12, 2026 (Kauffman Center)
- Mrs. Doubtfire: June 2-7, 2026 (Kauffman Center)
- Wicked: Aug. 12-30, 2026 (Music Hall)
PNC Broadway in Kansas City is well into its 2024-25 season, with all remaining productions taking place at the Music Hall. Beetlejuice runs from Feb. 18 to Feb. 23, and it’s followed by Back to the Future (April 1-6), then Disney’s The Lion King (May 22-June 1), then The Wiz (July 8-13).
