We all love a good whiskey cocktail, and even better, a good excuse to order one (or several). Coming in April, all of Kansas City will have just about the best reason ever to try whiskey-based cocktails with KC Pet Project’s Whiskey for Whiskers.
Throughout the month, over 50 restaurants and bars will serve whiskey cocktails featuring Nelson’s Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey, which will benefit KC Pet Project.
Popular spots around town, such as The Savoy at 21C, Char Bar, Chicken N Pickle, Julep, Kelly’s Westport Inn, Minsky’s Pizza, Mission Taco, Ragazza, Rye, Third Street Social, and more, will craft signature cocktails and donate a portion of the proceeds to the local animal shelter.
“We’re so grateful to Nelson Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey, Constellation Brands, and all the participating locations for helping our pets in this way,” says Tori Fugate, chief communications officer with KC Pet Project. “As we prepare for a very busy spring and summer, these types of events are truly lifesavers for the pets in our care as they help us provide medical care and support for thousands of local animals.”
Whiskey for Whiskers starts on April 1st, and you’ll be able to pick-up a passport-style booklet to check off each signature cocktail you try—for the pets, of course.
