If you’re hoping to expand your palate in 2023, you might want to put Mission Taco Joint on your list of restaurants to visit in January. Throughout the month, diners at Mission Taco can order the Buen Dia Taco, which is made in partnership with Thou Mayest Coffee Roasters.
The new breakfast taco features Ancho espresso sausage, using espresso beans from Thou Mayest, scrambled eggs with black beans, Oaxaca cheese, roasted poblano salsa, onion, cilantro, and queso fresco.
A portion of the profits from each Buen Dia Taco sold will be donated to Giving Grove, a local nonprofit organization that aims to provide “healthy calories, strengthen community, and improve the urban environment through a nationwide network of sustainable little orchards.”
Order the Buen Dia Taco through Sunday, February 12, at Mission Taco’s East Crossroads and South Plaza location—and be on the lookout for the taco joint’s newest location in Leawood’s Park Place.
