Act Like a Sponge! at The Kansas City Zoo run August 1st-30th and September 1st-14th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is free with Zoo admission.
Ahoy, Mateys! Your family can dive into a fun learning adventure with SpongeBob SquarePants from August 1st through September 15th as The Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium hosts a special scavenger hunt filled with lots of fun aquatic animal facts. Follow the clues with your kids to find hidden animal facts throughout the aquarium and have waves of fun along the way. Plus, learn some new ways to protect underwater pals with help from your favorite sea sponge that lives in a pineapple under the sea!
Every Saturday between August 1st through September 15th, the Zoo will also be showing SpongeBob episodes in the Beastro Lobby Auditorium at 9:30 am. Enjoy these fun episodes with your kids in our air-conditioned theater while you wait for the Zoo’s 9:30 am general admission open time.
