Getting Your Ducks in a Row — Reimagining and Reorganizing Your Organization

The Region 7 Head Start Association (R7HSA), representing early childhood programs across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska, is bringing the World’s Largest Rubber Duck to Overland Park, KS, as a feature of their 2023 Conference.
Monday, June 12th at 4:30pm will be the official Duck Launch Ceremony, and Overland Park, KS Mayor Curt Skoog will be onsite to Welcome the Duck to Overland Park!
The conference will address Head Start’s ongoing workforce crisis. A 2023 National Head Start Association survey indicates chronic low compensation, challenging classroom conditions, and opportunities with employers who pay more continues to create a need that demands immediate attention.
