Hear A Book; Take A Book

Altrusa International of Greater Kansas City, Inc will participate in the Excelsior Springs Community Health Fair to showcase their award-winning children’s project Hear A Book; Take A Book.

This is a free outdoor event is for families with children. Join us as we seek to share a love of reading by encouraging each child to select one brand new book to take home and add to his/her library. The book distribution is geared toward pre-Kindergarten through 6th-grade children.

This free event is hosted by Altrusa along with 40 other vendors set up in the parking lot of the Excelsior Springs Community Center. Learn more about Altrusa and the value this service organization places on the importance of literacy to our community.
