Juneteenth History Drop-In

Black individuals were enslaved by the Wornall family at the John Wornall House. Attend this event on the first day of Black History Month to remember them and learn about their lives. This drop-in style event will include Black experience audio guide, artifacts relating to enslavement, and honest discussions about enslavement in Missouri. The museum discusses this topic daily, but they believe Juneteenth is the perfect chance to learn something new. Learning opportunities suitable for a variety of ages and learning styles will be provided.
