Spring into Reading: An Altrusa Book Giveaway

Altrusa International of Greater Kansas City, Inc will partner with “The Merc” in a Spring into Reading Book Giveaway children’s event at “The Merc” parking lot, 501 Minnesota Avenue (intersection of 5th and Minnesota streets), KCKS; 10 am until noon. This is a free outdoor event for families with children. Join us as we seek to share a love of reading by encouraging each child to select one brand new book to take home and add to his/her library. Geared toward pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade children. This FREE event is hosted by Altrusa International of Greater Kansas City, Inc in partnership with “The Merc.” It was made possible by a grant of $4,000 from Altrusa International Foundation to improve the economic well-being and quality of life in communities that host an Altrusa club.
