Wine and Roses

On September 14, the Kansas City Rose Society, along with Honorary Chairs Erin and Steve Mos and Event Chair Amy Embry, hosted their 11th annual Wine and Roses event.  Over 200 attendees enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres from Olive Events Catering. Attendees could select from six wines curated by Top Shelf Bartending. The UMKC Conservatory Graduate String Quartet serenaded the guests as they enjoyed the beauty of the Laura Conyers Smith Rose Garden. Bergamot and Ivy provided stunning floral arrangements. All proceeds benefited the maintenance and preservation of the rose garden, which was established in 1931.
