In 2025 we will once again bring together survivors, supporters, donors, and volunteers to raise funds to provide care for uninsured/underinsured men and women, to assist with their survival of any kind of cancer.
Bra Couture KC funds stay local and are distributed to hospitals and organizations in the Greater Kansas City area that provide care to uninsured/underinsured men and women cancer patients with ALL types of cancers.

Bra Couture KC has raised over $5M in 14 years to provide funds to the following centers:
- University of Kansas Health Systems – The Patient’s in Need Fund at Missys’ Boutique for key appearance items for uninsured and underinsured cancer patients at the University of Kansas Cancer Center and a Patients in Need Fund for the Lymphedema Services Program.
- Bra Couture KC Cancer Services Center at University Health and Verda’s Place at the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center at Research Hospital – Both funded solely by BCKC for wigs, prosthetics, lymphedema garments, prescriptions, Ensure, food vouchers, gas cards, and assistance with rent, utilities for both men and women with any cancer who are uninsured/underinsured patients.
- Cancer Action of Kansas City, a community agency meeting the needs of men and women with any cancer who are uninsured and underinsured patients.
- Samuel U. Rodgers Medical Center funding their annual free mammogram program.
- Patients In Need Fund at the Cancer Services Center at Liberty Hospital.
