Orchid enthusiasts of all levels are invited to Powell Gardens’ fourth annual Orchid Symposium. Event highlights include a variety of presentations on orchids with a hands-on demonstration. Attendees will receive lunch and non-alcoholic beverages. David Bird with Bird’s Botanicals will have rare orchids and tropical plants for sale for Orchid Symposium attendees.

Create circle weavings inspired by the colors of spring blooms at Powell Gardens! Art and craft supplies, including yarn, will be available for use during the session. Students are encouraged to bring their own yarn and embellishments for their weavings. Recommended for ages 13 and older.
Join for a children’s printmaking session at Powell Gardens! Use leaves, flowers, and acrylic paints to create a unique work of art. All art supplies needed for this project will be available for use during the session. Recommended for ages 6-12.

Passport to India features a vibrant fashion show, art activities, and several dance performances in classical and contemporary styles. Additionally, guests are invited to participate in interactive experiences in the South and Southeast Asian galleries.
