“Flipping the switch” at the Plaza Lighting Ceremony is a tried-and-true tradition. This is the 90^th anniversary for the event—once again taking place Thanksgiving evening, Thursday, Nov. 28. What big name holds the honor of illuminating the Country Club Plaza this year?

All hail Kansas City native, comedian Heidi Gardner!

Gardner is a current cast member on Saturday Night Live, and has appeared on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Finale and Superstore on NBC. She represents her love of Kansas City proudly and remains a Chiefs and Royals fan.
