On Thursday, September 26, AesthetiCare’s End of Summer Party is returning for its 23rd year, and for the first time, it’s an all-day event. It will be held at AesthetiCare’s flagship location on Ward Parkway.
This year’s theme deserves honors: AesthetiCare University. The medspa’s team has planned a party that will allow nervous “freshmen” and knowledgeable “alumni” to immerse themselves in the world of aesthetics. At the morning session, expect a low-pressure learning sesh; in the afternoon and evening, enjoy vendors, live music, and games.

We spoke with Karen Cobb, Aesthicare’s marketing director, about this year’s End of Summer Party.
ACU Orientation
The morning session is built for people curious about the treatments AesthetiCare offers. That includes skin rejuvenation treatments, like microneedling and HydraFacials; body contouring treatments, like Sofwave, CoolSculpting, or Emsculpt; and injectables, like Botox or lip filler. It also includes all things skincare as well as a deep dive into their Wellness division, which offers services in weight loss and hormones.
“We understand that stepping into the world of aesthetics can feel a bit intimidating and overwhelming. That’s why our morning session is designed to make you feel completely at ease,” says Cobb. “Picture this: a no-pressure environment where you can learn at your own pace, visiting each of our treatment rooms to learn about treatments that we offer.”
Cobb says the entire expert staff from every AesthetiCare location—from Liberty to Lenexa to Kansas City—will be on hand to answer your questions.
“Our friendly experts will guide you through everything you want to know about targeting your concerns, all while offering demos, visual aids, and real client results to help you visualize the process. It’s like a mini crash course in beauty, tailored just for you.
“We’ll have dedicated ‘classrooms’ for various treatments, where attendees can walk around open house style to learn more about each treatment and the concerns they treat! You’ll get a firsthand look at how these procedures work, understand the benefits, and have a chance to ask our providers any questions you might have—whether you’re curious about slimming down, smoothing out, or simplifying your beauty routine.”
And if you can’t make it, no sweat. It’s 2024! You can go to virtual ACU.
“There will also be a virtual lunch-and-learn crash course,” says Cobb. “So if you can’t come that morning or evening but still have questions, you can tune in virtually.”

Learning is fun, but eventually, it’s time to party.
“Think of the morning as your chance to become a beauty scholar,” Cobb says, “and the afternoon as the ultimate celebration of our amazing clientele and city! We will celebrate alongside 20+ local Kansas City small businesses.”
