KidsTLC has been helping transform the lives of children and families experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges, developmental trauma, and autism for well over 40 years. What started as an emergency shelter for abused and neglected children has expanded to further help children and youth in crisis.

We checked in with Dr. Erin Dugan, president & CEO at KidsTLC to find out all the stats that were fit to print about this amazing organization.

Number of volunteers: 2,375 different people volunteered in 2018 for a total of 11,290.5 hours!

Largest donation: Over $1,000,000—and it’s happened more than once! The biggest though? $1,130,204.00 as part of a capital campaign.


Number of programs:
4 main branches of service—Residential, Outpatient, Autism, and Family Support.

Number of events you throw each year: 3—including our KidsTLC Open and Pairings Party that happened this June and our upcoming KidsTLC Benefit in November.

Square footage of the campus: 76,983 square feet of land space and 84,691 of office space.

Meals served every day: 360

Average cost of electric bill each month: $12,000


How many services are provided on campus:
More than 16 unique services are administered at KidsTLC—including speech, language, occupational, and recreational therapies at our Trellis Center.Our PRTF and Sanctuary, meanwhile, have 24-hour residential care; individual, group and family therapy; nursing services; art, music, pet, equine, recreational and milieu therapies.

Number of bubbles played with annually at the Trellis Center at KidsTLC: 36 gallons!

Number of hours of autism treatment provided annually at the Trellis Center at KidsTLC: 55,000+


Number of clients served in 2018: 
2,812

Number of outpatient therapy hours in the Lotus Clinics at KidsTLC in 2018: 7,662
