All of the 5Ks below start at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, but they require you to arrive earlier (or in the days prior) for packet pickup. The registration prices are accurate as of Nov. 26 but may increase before the race. Follow the included links for more information.
1. Thanksgiving Day 5K Run & Family Stroll

This race benefits the Kansas City Sports Commission & Foundation and WIN for KC. You’ll get a T-shirt, T-Mobile touchscreen gloves, and Krispy Kreme donuts for participating. Kids can participate in a fun run at 10 a.m.
2. Kansas City Turkey Trot 5K Run & Walk
Location: Swope Park, Kansas City, MO

This race benefits Best Buddies. You’ll get a long-sleeve shirt or fleece pullover, plus Donut King donuts, for participating. Kids division tickets cost $12.99.
3. Ward Parkway Thanksgiving Day Run 5K
Location: 8600 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO

This race benefits Harvesters Community Food Network. You’ll get a long-sleeve shirt and a six-inch pie from Tippin’s Pies for participating. There are several other races, including a 10K and a downhill mile, associated with this event.
4. Gillham Road GobbleTrot 5K
