AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk is a new sports, wellness, and entertainment venue opening this fall in Overland Park.

Soon, you can spend a day, or a weekend, at a new sports park unique to Kansas City.

Bluhawk is the evolving Price Brothers development at 159th Street and Antioch in Overland Park, soon to be the go-to spot for shopping, dining, and sports.

Combine it with a state-of-the-art sports facility designed and operated by nationally recognized Sports Facilities Companies.

Put them all together and you’ve got AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk, like no other place in the Kansas City metro area.

Whether you’re an athlete or a couch potato—or someone in between—there will be plenty to experience and enjoy.

Says Hannah Smith, marketing and promotions coordinator for Sports Facilities Companies, “AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk will be the premier sports, wellness, recreation, and entertainment destination in our region. The first of two phases will be ready this fall.”

Ground Level.

This indoor sports park will have an ice rink that meets NHL and NCAA requirements on the ground level. The rink will be perfect for local hockey clubs, figure skating, hockey and skating lessons, and free skate time for the general public.

An indoor turf field will be ready for soccer practices and games. The turf can be converted into an additional four basketball courts/eight volleyball courts to make a total of eight basketball courts and/or sixteen volleyball courts. Or an event space, as needed.

A performance training center for athletes to use, plus open gym time for the public will put the accent on fitness.

Grab-and-go food and beverage options offer athletes and their families a quick healthy snack or lunch.

Also located on the first floor is the family entertainment center. The center will have an arcade, laser tag, an e-sports lounge, ten lanes of bowling and sports simulators.

Second Level.

Upstairs, the entertainment ramps up. A bar and grill will offer elevated drinks and chef-prepared dishes. Families can roll the perfect strike on the additional six bowling lanes and fly through the air on an electric zip line, known as a Roll Glider, an aerial rollercoaster the kids (and maybe even Grandma) will love.

A mezzanine will wrap around the upper level, so you can watch all the action happening below.

Fun for All.

The convertible spaces on the lower level could also be configured for hosting corporate events, birthday parties, graduation parties, and more.  “AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk will be the go-to venue for all kinds of community events,” says Smith.

Also in the works is the TPH Academy for student-athletes, where they can excel in their sport, academics, and life goals. TPH Academies are dotted across the United States, but this is a first for Kansas City student-athletes and their families.
