Over 200 local families benefit from Jewish Family Services’ Passover Meal Program, and you can help make an impact on Tuesday, April 4.Â
Congregations around the Kansas City metro have been gathering staple pantry items often included in Passover meals. The meal kits are being put together this week and early next week and will include grape juice, matzah ball soup mix, boxes of matzah, baking mixes, matzah cake meal, matzah meal, potato starch, fresh produce, and chicken for a holiday meal.Â
On April 4, Jewish Family Services is asking for volunteers to help deliver the meal kits to the local families. Volunteers can sign up for a route that fits their schedule and expect the route to take a maximum of 1.5 hours.
