The upcoming 2019 Plaza Art Fair this weekend features artists from a whopping 34 different states and two different countries this year. (Shout out, Canada and Argentina!) But as you tour the endless array of booths, be sure to swing by and show the love to the nearly 50 local artists representing both Missouri and Kansas.
In case you were wondering, artists who exhibit in the fair are selected by a jury. A new jury that reviews submissions and selects the artists is picked every year, which provides for a good mix of new artists. (Fun fact: Roughly 50 percent of the artists who will showcase work this year were at the Fair in past.)
