If you’re on the hunt for a festive KC-centric memento for the holidays, may we suggest Made In KC’s gorgeous new Shuttlecock Snow Globe? The squad at Made in KC teamed up with the gurus at 3DHQ on the Plaza to create the festive ornament. “We’ve been getting requests from customers for years asking if there was a local snow globe option,” says Made In KC’s Keith Bradley. “We couldn’t find any so we decided to take the project on ourselves. We approached 3DHQ with the idea and a few sketches and they created a beautiful, unique 3D printing snow globe. We hope this will be the first of many to come.”
Bradley says response from customers has been “great! It’s an exact replica of one of the shuttlecocks on the Nelson lawn. We wanted our first snow globe to be classic and iconic Kansas City.”
